The state record is from South Holston Reservoir and must have been stocked by VA because we never have. We stocked Melton Hill back before going to Muskie's but that is all I can find that was stocked around here.

MELTON HILL 1971 Northern Pike 2,000 FING RESERVOIR
MELTON HILL 1980 Northern Pike 120,000 FING RESERVOIR
MELTON HILL 1982 Northern Pike 9,700 FING RESERVOIR

MELTON HILL 1985 Northern Pike 9,000 FING RESERVOIR

I think that is why there is no reg for length or creel in the guide. They must want all that is "possibly" still there to be removed.

You never can tell though, there have been several instances where a fish species was stocked into a body of water as a test group but never ongoing.

Maybe someone else has more knowledge of them.
