Default Possible Alabama State Record Crappie

This is a HUGE Crappie caught by my ex Brother-in-law in Blount County, Alabama. Supposedly weighed 4 lbs. 11 ozs. three hours after it was caught.

It is being verified by a fishery biologist. If accurate, it will be a new Alabama State Record.

Cool Boy, that would be sweet ~!!! <'TK><

I really don't want to bust anybodys bubble here ... but I think we might might be off about a pound ... By looking at the pic's and the finger and thumb size ... "Of the Holdee" ... In my opnion via the pic's It is about 1 plus pound short of 4 pounds .... I hope I am wrong ... <'TK><
