Default Tune-up work on outboards Mid-TN

I live in the Nashville area (near JPP/Longhunter) and want my 2000 Merc 50hp outboard tuned up. Runs ok, but misses a little bit. Do you guys know anyone/shops in the area that have reasonable rates just to check things out, change plugs, etc? I don't want to spend arm and a leg on hourly rates. Thanks

Scott, I hate to be a party pooper here! ... Did you every think about the owner and host of this web site who's banner is above this message .... Oldoutboardbarn.com ... I really don't need the business ... I have more than I really want to do (It gets into my fishing and Racing time) but it kind of chaps me you would ask such a question .... I work on motors that have been built in the last 100 years ... the older tiller motors are my specality .... The newer ones I tolerate LOL !!! <'TK><

LOL...Sorry TK. I figured by the picture you only focused on the antiques. I know mine wouldn't tie up too much of your time. It's a great boat but I want to make sure everything is ready to go for the spring. I will be in touch.

Thanks as well to Jaycee for the info.

T. K. I too would like to apologize. I too was under the impression that you only worked on and sold older motors. Please excuse my ignorance.
