Default Percy Priest

Is Percy Priest extremely low or is this a normal level? I am bank bound until i can fund a small boat which hopefully isnt too much longer but I have been driving around fishing different areas from the bank throwing crappie jigs and small stuff. The water appears extremely low and shallow walking 50 plus feet to water on some banks. I just moved here so this lake is completely new. Is this the normal level or is there a draw down and spring raise like on KY Lake?

Also, any bank places where I might can catch a fish is extremely helpful. I have a 4 year old that insist to cast and fish "all by himself" as my fishing partner and we're 0-3 on trips and If I dont catch something soon, I think he'll mutiny.

Thanks,
Justin

The lake drops down between October and April. Try Stewart's Creek or Spring Creek area near Fall Creek Recreation area. Once you get that boat you should try catfish on the foam noodle. Put several out and the kid will have a blast!
