I don't fish up there on Old Hickory anymore. It is the same drive for me to go to Alabama and fish. But I surely thought someone would have replied to your post. If you go I would like to hear your fishing report. Good Luck and Merry Christmas !!!!

I haven't heard of anyone in the last few years catching them, if they are they are keeping it secret. This cold snap may very well end that for good.

From the little I hear about it once they opened up the discharge area it messed up the fishing. Apparently having the barrier did wonders for the fishing.

Good to see that you are still around. Do you ever here from Jimmy? He is probably top water fishing on the ice. Then again he may be an ice hole fisherman.

I've not talked to him in some years but I know he moved back to South Carolina after his short stint in Minnesota. He actually grew to enjoy Ice fishing. I should reach out to him sometime. Hope you are doing well.

Pretty sure they changed the water discharge or the temperature of it and they all died off. I havent seen any talk of even a single talapia being caught in the last 4 or 5 years. I can remember they were loading the boats with them one year and nothing the next
