Default 3/22/21 Priest Update

Quick outing update:
Trolled Priest from Nashville Shores, around Goose Island up to Hermitage Island. A-rigs and crank baits. 10AM - 2PM. Spread of 4. Depths from 18-6. Speeds from1.2-2.0.

No hits, no strikes, no errors, no fish.

Cast swim baits and lizards in the back of Elm Hill Marina . . . same numbers.

Water in the main lake is 58 and 61 back in the shallows of Elm Hill.

Was aiming primarily for the hybrids. Nothing busting on the surface.

Carry on.

Thanks for the report! Been quiet on here lately, keep after them hybrids if you ain't markin no decent sized fish keep on moving, it always a search for them big hybrids, on the lower end one day and up at fate the next. Seeing how its spring have you tried the forks in the upper end? Might go do a little recon this morning.

Good luck & happy fishing 🎣

I was there with a friend on the 22nd too. Launched a Fate Sanders and fished up river from there. Looked in on Stewarts Creek too but didn't shut the engine down. We caught 12 crappie one 1 keeper. Had about that many gills and yellow bass. I have never seen that many boats and bank fishermen thru the week before. I guess I might be done with fishing Priest. I might check out Wilson and Wheeler Lakes in Alabama. It is only a few minutes longer to drive there for me. Headed to Guntersville this weekend. I'll be mostly crappie fishing.
