Default Tilapia Status

Is there any report of Tilapia fishing at the Steam Plant yet?

I was out there this morning and seen a few boats catching small ones. Water was low but clarity was better than I expected.

Default Tilapia No More

Gentlemen,

I have been at the steam plant 6 times in the last three weeks. No tilapia.
Old timers are telling me they froze out year before last. No one is catching any. There was a long period where the water cooled to 48 degress for a few weeks. That is enough to croak them all.... unless they were hanging out at the Gallatin waste water release down river.

Sad indeed.

There are a lot of nice skip jack up there though....

Below dam temp water on the 2nd was at 48deg.

Caught a few sauger.
