has anyone fished lake Guntersville in April, would this be pre spawn or spawn during this time of year down there. I will have a boat and will be staying in the Goose Pont colony resort area. I will probably try to fish for crappie some too.
Depends on what part of April. With the weather we have coming they are gonna push to the bank really soon. I would bet that a lot of fish start spawning around the next full moon
I would think you will be fishing the spawn in the first week or so of April and a mix of post and spawn during the rest of the month. The big push should be just before the full moon...depending on weather and water conditions. I will be going the first few days of April for crappie.
