Default Winter drawdowns

Anyone have reliable input as to why the annual drawdowns on area lakes hasn't started yet?

Priest is actually over summer pool, Tims Ford is only down about 3' (18' drawdown in the winter).

Old Hickory doesn't fluctuate much so it won't be too noticeable when it happens.

OH is very different from last year when we weren't able to fish below the dam all winter due to high volumes of water spilling through the gates.

I'm no expert by any means, but I suspect it's because we have been in a drought. The last time I fished CH.. it was down 3-4 feet and that was in Sept
