It's crazy how much water they have been letting out of old hickory, 100k+cfs is the highest I've seen since 2010, any one crazy enough to go out there? I would be but I've got my boat in the shop getting my lower unit rebuilt, usually with any high water +10ft or more below the dam i seem to always catch some quality fish.

Be safe out there!

You’d have a death wish going on that river with that kind of flow. Be glad your boat is in the shop and not in that river.

Not many here fish Pickwick but it was spilling over 530,000 CFS yesterday...still at about 480,000 CFS today. I fished there, and have kept up with the flows there since 1992. I’ve never seen those kind of numbers.

Regards

530,000CFS X 7.48 gallons per cube = 3,964,400 gallons per second!
Amazing volume of water. A man could fill his pond up pretty quick with that. LOL
