Default Bluegills again

Went bluegill fishing again yesterday, they weren't by the outer lock wall like they had been.
The gates being opened for five days blew them out of there.
They were probably inside the lock/slip walls, but since there were barges locking thru and waiting to lock through we went down to Mansker creek. Found a piece of structure that had a bunch on it.
Set the spot lock and commenced to catch a bunch (50 ish?) Of nice sized gills, lot of them 8-8 1/2 inches.
I took a crappie cup and marked it 7/8/9/10 inches.
Those that went 8+ wouldnt fit all the way down in the cup, they were that thick!
My customers were from Alberta Canada but the wind chill got to them and they said "uncle" after about 3 hours and we called it quits.
Seriously doubt I'll do much fishing in the next week, looks to be cold with north winds.
Should be game on after this cold front moves through though.
