Went to the steam plant this morning looking for some striper action. No dice. Had 1 blowup on a topwater and lost one on a crankbait. I had about an hour to kill before meeting a buddy for lunch so I decided to do some bass fishing. In aout an hour I caught 6 with 4 keepers throwing a football jig. I was sitting in the main lake channel and throwing into the mouths of shallow main lake pockets. I was getting bit in about 3-4 fow. Every fish had the jig so far down its throat that you couldn't see it.
