Default Mayfly swarms

The mayflys are swarming at old hickory. Pulled the boat out of cages bend last night and they were thick. My boat , truck and clothes were covered. I'm still finding them flying inside the truck. Didn't help my bass fishing 2 shorts on nighttime spinnerbait. Water was very rough due to wind last night.

Exclamation

This is a great sign.

All Cats are up on flats next to deeper water. It is catfish Disneyland because they are everywhere on flats near deep water spawning.

It's Dinner time!

My brother and me put in at Bledsoe on Wednesday night. Same thing. I've never seen that many mayflies, ever. Boat carpet is a mess now.

I remember a full moon night on the Duck River 10-15 years ago. A buddy left the spotlight on in the boat and it filled up with mayflies- 4"-6" deep! I shoveled them out with the paddle. Imagine volleyballs of mayflies floating down the river in the moonlight.
