Old Hickory Dam and Final days in TN

I have really enjoyed fishing in the Nashville area for the past 3 years but I am transferring schools for next year so I'm ending my time in TN right and going fishing this week. I'm thinking about hitting OH dam tonight in search of a catfish over 20lb. I've only made it to 15lb here since I've been here! I have skipjack ready to go. Is it decently safe on the Hendersonville side at night? or should i go somewhere else?

I have done a lot fishing at night down there andnever had an issue. But it's always a good idea to pack some heat if you can.
