Default Weekend at the Caney

Tough weather but still had a great time with my 2 sons. One caught his PB 18" Brown and I got a 20" Rainbow. All lived to fight another day!

We let all the fish go after reviving them. Using jerk bates, heavier rooster tails and my son was using minnows. The current was ripping but if you can get to the bottom area of rail the jerk baits worked well with slow retreive.

Good looking fish. I can't believe you guys caught fish in that water. I'm waiting on it to get back to normal and I am going to make a trip up.Next time You should Gaff the fish, make sure they don't get away. I've got an extra one now that Jimmy left for Minnesota.
