Default Good weekend on old hickory

Had a pretty good weekend fishing with my dad Friday in the rain and falling temperatures. And then today with bluebird skies and no wind and high pressure. These were the best ones on Friday.
.

These were our best ones today.

Life is good when you have a fishing pole in your hand!!!

It's nice to see. I have struggled so bad on the hick all spring until the last 2 weeks. For the last couple weeks I have crushed them. I haven't seen a lot of OH posts so I assumed everyone has been struggling. I was fishing the upper end and switched to mid-lower end. Its like fishing a whole different lake. Good job andnice fish

Thanks. We've been fishing the lower end and moved up to the same mid-Lower end I guess and have done decent the last three trips there. I wouldn't say we've crushed them but have done well. With the way the weather has been in a downward spiral I've been really surprised at the numbers and quality of fish that myself and deezltek have been catching. This one was April 23rd. Water was stained and it was raining hard all day.

Funny story about spinning rods. I bought me a nice setup so I can learn how to drop shot and throw small swimbaits. It's been so long since I've used one that I really forgot how to use one. I could hardly even cast the dang thing. Had to practice in the yard. Keep it up guys. I enjoy tour posts

Oh and BTW. Deezletech, can you get your boy to wear a nicer hat? Maybe something with a little orange on it.

Being a gator fan is worse than a bama fan
