Default Wife's first musky...

The wife has been fishing with me a lot more since I got the river jon last year. Much easier to launch and beach, much easier for her to get in and out of, much more scenic places, plus no knuckleheads zooming by on plane... She offered to go with me this week and I was able to guide her into her first musky!! (which is kind of a big deal since we have been married 35 years...) Not real big as far as musky go, but still about all she could handle - the rod was doubled at one point when it went on a run and I was worried she might let go but she hung on for dear life. Kept saying " I don't want to lose it" over and over again. Then when netted it did the "eat the boat" thing so no way could I get her to hold it for the pic, but - its all hers - hooked and landed - released and swam away healthy... And I am so proud of her!
