Default Stripers or Hybrids or Stripers stocked in Normandy?

A friend of men heard that TWRA has stocked Stripers in Normandy. Anyone heard this?

Yep, I was told stripers. From what was passed on to me is that the Bait is out of control and they need something to help contain it.

Looking at this link they didn't put any stripers in the lake in 2016. Not saying what will be stocked this year.

No stripers or Cherokee bass have been stocked in Normandy.
A lot of walleye though.

Maybe twra should study the viability of putting some hybrids in normandy, there has been days that I run across clouds of bait that appear to be acres in size, that is a lot of bait

Nature normally takes care of the excess bait by killing a lot of it with cold water temps.
Probably not this year.
Priest is the same, acres of small shad everywhere.

I agree although normandy has not had a shad kill 2 years in a row, that will make for some fat predator fish this spring
