Default JPP Sunday

Me and MNFisher decided to harass some hybrids this morning. And it was S..L..O..W...WE managed to catch 14 before MN had to leave.

I decided to go on the hunt. After about 30 minutes of searching, I found a few groups of fish and started setting lines.
Put out six rods, four with side planers, two straight back.
Caught the occasional fish and started seeing a.pattern, the fish were hold on the outside edge od the river channel.
Once I started keying on that feature, the fishing picked up seriously.
I boated #27 &#28 at the same time (double up on ARIG), and decided to call it quits at 30.
As I boated #30, another rod got hit, while I was fighting #31, two more rods went down.
All told, all six rods caught fish so instead of stopping at 30, I wound up catching 35.
Finally got my mess of rods cleaned up, baits stored away and headed home.
Kinda believe I could have caught 50 but I was satisfied. No need to keep hammering them.

It's dead out here this morning, 5 fish in 3 hours.
I've caught way more trees than fish!

If you'd leave them alone for more than a day they may respond a little better. Maybe, you should keep a permanent marker in the boat and put a big "M" on the side of each fish you catch and see how many times you catch the same fish!!
