Default Below OHD today

Had planned on going to the steam plant this morning but after seeing the crowded boat ramp we went below the dam instead. We fished for Sauger and Smallmouth and didn't get a single bite. No sign of baitfish anywhere down there either. That's the first time I've been skunked down there I must say.

Man that stinks. Thanks for the report though I was wondering what was happening below the dam. I've been at the steam plant 3 times in about 2 weeks.

The conditions seemed perfect today. The water was extremely clear down there. Just seemed odd that there were no baitfish at all that I could see. One other boat was searching for shad but his nets came up empty.

Still spilling. The birds were sitting up on the railings of the lock most of the morning. The only time some would dive is when they would release water from the lock. And that was few and far between.
