Default Old hickory crappie

Got out Saturday for a couple hours with about 2 dozen minnows. The fish were hitting really strange. They would swim off with the minnow and bounce the bobber under but not have a hook in their mouth. We did manage to catch a few fish. The bigger fish were in shallow cover, 4-6 ft. Only caught small fish is 10-15 foot range
