Default OH Steam Plant Skipjack?

Had fun a few winters back catching a ton of skipjack on ultralight near the Steam Plant. Anyone know if its too early or weather still too warm to give it a try? Thanks.

It's going to have to get cold and stay cold before I make any trips up that way. I went once earlier this year during "winter" and it was a waisted trip.

Funny you mention that. I too have caught skipjack around the Cedar Creek area of the lake and wondered why they seem to like that area from the rest of main lake.

We used to catch large skipjack right up by the dam on the lake side. Great fun on ultralight. Little cove to the left before you enter the lock.
