Gonna go catch some shad then hit the river for some striper fishing, who wants to join me?

Now that's a great offer. Hope someone got to go with you and you loaded the boat.

Man, why always work gets in the way of fishing?

Merv I would've took you up on that if I would've seen this post earlier. I was debating to go striper fishing on the Cumberland River or bass fishing. Should've went striper fishing.

I had two people call and take me up on my offer.
It was a very slow day, only caught these fish.
But at 41 inches, 28 lbs, Debbie was thrilled with her catch.
Mason was a little less thrilled with his 12 lb blue catfish but felt a little better after hoisting his identical 41 inch 28 lb rockfish.

Good looking fish. If you are going to catch 3 fish, might as well make them good ones.
