Default Another good day!

Hit my crappie hole at 8:30 a.m this morning and left at 12:30 p.m. Had around 30 keeper crappie....meaning 10 inches or over. The fish were holding tight to cover on a ledge in 12-14 feet of water. Seems to be the norm the past couple of weeks there. The water was clear...3 feet of visibility...and water temps were 76 degrees. Water level is a little high. Sitting on the bucket my feet were in about 2 inches of water. Had it been any higher would have had to be as sure footed as a goat to stand on the slope. Had a Bison colored Trout Magnet tied to 1.5# test line. The rod setup today was the Tict Ice Cube Rockin' Drift 6' 9" Mebaru UL....with a Daiwa Luvias 2004H reel mounted on it. Had the drag set appropriately and I had a ball. Water temps need to get down to around 60 so I can constantly get on the 12-14 inch fish. Can't really describe the confidence I have when fishing with the Trout Magnet....I fully expect to catch fish. Now of course that doesn't happen all the time but confidence in your lure is extremely important. I redid my numbers on my Hawg Trough so I could see the length better in pics....LOL. Just a lot of drag pulling fun. Life is good!

Regards

Nice crappie.. You are all over them...

Since you are bank fishing, are you using a slip bobber?
