Default Anybody use Powell rods?

Does anybody use the Powell max 3D series rods? I bought the 7ft3" med heavy rod for spinnerbaits. Absolutely the perfect big spinnerbait rod for me ... Except the friggin line twist around the guides. Anybody have similar issues with this rod? I've tried different line and reels on this rod with the same result. It has guides that aren't really standard or micro but somewhere in between. I love everything else about this rod for spinnerbaits but I'm looking for help

I have 3 but never had any issues with the guides. I love them.

Maybe the spinnerbait is rolling causing line twist? Throw a different bait for a few cast and see if the line still twists up on you..
