Default Percy vegetation a difference maker

It's been a few years since we've had those "canes" extend away from the shore en masse. Huge impact on keeping some fish shallow throughout the summer. In some cases you can find it extending out to as deep as 5 feet and creating an obvious weed line for fish to hold. Did well yesterday in and around Ponderosa Island including a just-shy-of-5 lb. bass on a buzzbait (at 2 pm!) and spent an hour chasing busting 1-2 lb. hybrids on the east side of Hunter Island.
