Default Been fun guys!

As the week comes to a close, my wife and I are trying to finalize details of a move to east TN. The mountains have called our names loud enough to not ignore any longer.

I may still make the trek back to fish a couple honey holes though. Until those days, I leave all you guys my secret spots located at ............., ............, ............ and ............

Congratulations! Make sure to still post trips though, I have always been curious about the fishing up that way. You going to be close to Gatlinburg or Knoxville?

Thanks!

Depends on which place we end up finalizing on. There are a few in play right now to decide between. One is in Farragut area of Knoxville walking distance to Loudon Lake the others are closer to Sevierville.

Congrats man, I hope it all works out well for you! The only thing that sucks about the fishing out that way is all the pollution in the water. I'm not even referring to catch and release vs my preferred method but there are actual warnings not to come in contact with the water or sediment on some of the rivers there so no wet legging!

Great hunting out that way too and lots of beautiful scenery. I'm sure you'll love it out there.

Travis, Best wishes on your move. Hope you find happiness wherever you go. Sure wish we could have met up.
We expect you to stay in touch on the forum.
Don't worry about Jimmy fishing out your honey holes. He can't understand the Morse Code locations you gave us. Not sure he understands anything.

Yes I'm a nerdy engineer, you'll have to give me 0's and 1's or some ridiculous integral equation to solve for the coordinates to your spots. Morse code is for the really old guys like SAMBOLIE. And if there's anyone you don't have to worry about fishing your spots, it's him.

I believe it is nice to expand our footprint, encompassing more eastern reports does nothing but improve the site. Good luck on the move Travis and keep us abreast of your endeavors.

Travis,

Good luck with your move. IMO some of the best fishing in the state. Lived in Knoxville for 6 years. Could be fly fishing w/ a little 3 or 4 wt. in the Smokies in 25 minutes or fishing for big trout on the Clinch in 25 minutes. Not to mention all the smallmouth streams close to Sevierville. Some of the best small stream fishing I ever had was right in the heart of Sevierville. Size and numbers. Float the Little River around Alcoa for some incredible wood duck hunting in the early Sept. season and big smallmouth. Always enjoyed your input. Greg

Thanks for all the wishes guys and of course I will post still of my ventures once I actually flippin get there.

We have ran into a few unforeseen hurdles yet still bound and determined to get there. Housing has became a bit of a pain. Seems people over there have extra toes n fingers when it comes to counting square footage. Several places that appeared nice online were way smaller than advertised for the price.

School starts in a few weeks to a month depending on county over there. That will be my deadline on relocation.
