Default Canada 2016

Had a great time. Weather was volatile to say the least but anything you can fish 16 hours a day for 6 days straight, that is a wonderful time.

If you are every planning a trip, Gateway North Outfitters is a great family run business. Very rustic cabins but incredible service and fishing.

Default Fly In

Yes. About a 35 minute flight. We were the only cabin on the river/lakes. Never saw another boat. Next year Trout Lake which is around 18,000 acres. I don't know how we can fish in six days with 9.9HP motors!

awesome trip!
im kicking around several lodge options for a trip for next year and that place was on the radar. Im even looking pretty hard at Devils Lake here in the U.S.
so many top notch fishing options, its hard to decide.

We go to Pine Cliff lodge in NW Ontario. Only lodge on the lake and the fishing is amazing. Mostly Smallmouth,Pike, and Lake Trout. There are Walleye and we have caught some good sized ones but they said the lake trout keep them thinned out.
I highly recommend them if you want a remote drive to lodge
