Default Down by the Creek

Been a while since I've fished the Little Goose creek here in Hartsville where I live, so decided to go see what was biting..Caught a bunch of nice bream and a few warmouth.. They were biting every cast. Was using a 1/16 oz trout magnet in pink..

Good times. I've not waded a creek in years.

That's some nice ones.... can't beat it when they bite on every cast, ... Years ago I spent many a day wading the upper Potomac river .... great way to be out there.... and as a bonus you probably had the whole creek to yourself! I used to wear out the bass and gills on a crawdad crankbait like this one :

Indeed I did..Not a soul out there. I do like to use a crankbait also in the creek and have had a lot of success with it. I use a floating rebel crawdad and put a little split shot a few inches above to help it sink a little.

Sure, It's a Storm Thundercraw... 1/4 oz,... it works real good with 6lb line.
