Thumbs up Old Hickory Lake fishing report 5/13/2016

Mr ED and I went out this morning and the water temperature was 70.6 with light winds. I started with the 1.5 square bill in sexzy shad with no luck then I tried a red eye shad in. Dark red and chartreuse with strip's and caught eight bass and two crappie. Mr ED was using a black w/chartreuse Crappie magnet and caught eight bluegills. Then when we got into the ramp there was three young lady's fishing for bluegills. So till the next time we go out good luck and God bless..... Woody

Nice report Woody. How is water color down your way. I fished station camp this afternoon and had 2 small keepers and 6 short(bass) all on brush hog and bever type baits in junebug and green pumpkin. Water color was cloudy

One side was cloudy and the other side was clear and we caught fish in both.
