Default "250 off the wall"

"250 off the wall" Fished Pickwick Dam tailrace today. I and a fishing buddy were using the ThunderHawk Midnight Blue Micro Dancer with the 1/16 ounce Double Cross jig head and the 1/8 ounce ThunderHawk Micro Fry jig head. I found a ton of white bass on a gravel bar.....see sonar image. We vertical jigged about 75 white bass off that gravel bar....they were stacked in there. The bite slowed and I headed for the wing wall by number 6 generator. Did a quick sonar scan.....saw all the fish...put trolling motor in spot lock and started casting.....making sure the jig hit the wall and dropped straight down. It was absolute fishing mayhem. We were doubling up on almost every cast. These were all cookie cutter males spewing milk....meaning they are there for a few more days and it is over until they come back in the jumps. The fish were 13.5-14.5 inches......very heavy for males. I was using a Major Craft Truzer Ajing 6' 5" H model UL rod and my buddy was using a Major Craft Volkey 6' 8" Super Finesse UL rod strung with 2# test SOS line. Many times the fish hit it on the fall...but if not, once you twitched the Micro Dancer the first time it is was game on. We figured we put another 175 fish in the boat...thus the "250 off the wall". It was one of the best days I have ever had with numbers of white bass.....for two people. I was very glad that the gentleman I took fishing was able to experience it. The ThunderHawk Micro Dancer is the real deal....even managed to get a largemouth that happend be feeding with the white bass. Time to clean gear and figure out next week's fishing....life is good!!!

Regards

No I haven't colored any jig heads. Not sure which post you saw that on. I have used the white and chartreuse heads....and some black also. I would like a Midnight Blue colored jig head though.
