Default Lunch fishing 4/19

My little lunch spot never lets me down. The bluegill or very active and even some up fanning beds getting ready for spawn. Caught a few and intend to go back with a flyrod today.

Beautiful fish! That one looks half Gill/shellcracker. I love it when I get some of them. Wish I had a spot closer for them.

Thanks!

I found a bunch and left my fly rod at home but luckily still had my TM rod in the car. Originally was fishing for bass but came across these and went back for my light rod.

Made out again. The gills played more today but still caught a few others.

It's a gem of a spot for sure that is pretty much overlooked.
