Default Percy Priest rockfish

20.35 lb rockfish from midlake on shiners.

11.30 hybrid same place, same bait.

Both fish released and instantly kicked out of my hands when placed in the water.

That's a couple of really nice catches! The striper is fantastic for priest.

I would say that would make a tourney winning pair most any day of the week out there. Well done.

Awesome day out there, Merv! What's this releasing thing all about? How do you make fish tacos if you release the fish?

It's been a long time since I've seen a report of a 20 pound rockfish out of JPP, very well done! The Hybrids I catch out there are bigger than the rockfish I catch in that lake haha

Nice fish Merv!

Just an FYI though, once a fish has been placed on a stringer it is considered in your possession and part of your creel. Those fish can't be released. It aids in reducing delayed mortality.

You can tell us that you and Jimmy had taco Tuesday at your house. We don't judge you for eating striped fish
