Default Dale Hollow

We are gonna try it for the first time ever Saturday, any advice sure would be appreciated, I would love to put my wife on her first smallmouth but we really just watch to catch something lol.

Depends if on bed or not. Also water level.
I like swim baits and crank baits and flukes. Look for flats, main lake points, also creek arm points. It can be fickle. Small minnow jigs have also worked well for me in the past. Flurocarbon line and long casts are also recommended.

DH is my fav. Walleye are up river/at the dam for the spawn run. Smallie should be active. Hair jigs and suspending jerks should serve you well. Dusk/Dawn is prime with the gin clear water. Super Clear/Fluro line is a must unless at night. Post report!

Keep an eye on the weather coming in this week. They are saying we could get 2-3 inches of rain.
