Post Normandy Saturday

Got out to the dam around sunrise Saturday morning, lots of people using TMs, not much luck. One fella was using worms and caught a good sized brooder. I used TMs at first didn't catch a single fish. Switched to roostertails, pistol petes. caught 4, all ranged around 16, one 18. All caught in pockets less than 5 feet away from the bank. Buddy caught 3 using the same thing. 2 hour drive to get there but completely worth it. Beautiful day and beautiful fish.

I want to go but the flow is a bit much for me. Good job catching them.

I'm glad you caught some fish. Using Trout Magnets in that amount of water at Normandy is not the right choice. I went one day last week for about an hour and lost two cranks trying to catch a fish so I figured 10 bucks lost for one day was enough....LOL...so went home. But the minute the flow goes down I'm back there...lots of fat chunky trout there.

Regards
