Heiny, here are my transducers on the transom.

The far left is for HB 1199 ci SI HD, the next one (little fella) is the sonar for the Lowrance HDS 12 Gen 3 Touch, and the long jobbie is the side imaging (side scan) and down imaging transducer for the Lowrance.

Supposedly the two units, HB and Lowrance, won't "talk" to each other and interfere with the other.

I'm being too much of a wuss to take the boat out and try this setup.

Just kidding. Good jobbie.

Nice job! Please post results when you get out on the water. I need to get some of those floor mats for my Jon boat, did you get those from one of the forum members?

Andy

Still a smart wuss for not going out to test 'em, fish don't care if the boat is dirty, they make red hooks don't they. Hope they work good. I've never seen 2 SI ducers on the back, so should be interesting to see that they work. If you do get some crosstalk, try using different freq's 83 vs 200 and 455 vs 800 on the different units.

Thanks TNtroller, I'll keep that thought in mind about the different frequencies.
I plan on getting rid of the 1199 eventually. Just leaving it on until I get out and out some of my way points on the Lowrance.
I've got too many way points now (1100+) and don't want to clog up the screen.
I'll be selective with my categorizing on the Lowrance due to it being much MUCH easier to label way points vs the HB.

I know from experience that if you are running two of the same units you have to run them at different frequencies or you will get a lot of interference. Not sure about different manufacturers

I see you put all on transom. I was wondering if you were mounting on trolling motor.

Im sure it can vary between settings and manufacturers but ive heard those big transducers for the side imaging units can take thier tolls on battery life just from the power of the units. Any merrit to that?
