Still a bust. There does seem to be a little more bait showing up with a few white bass being in there. Water temp in the channel is still only 3 - 4 degrees higher than the river channel.

Anyone know much longer will it be a construction site i.e. when will the barrier be taken down so we can fish the entire canal again? I know some folks love the barrier being there because it keeps people from motoring through and scaring fish. I have had better results since the barrier has been put up but am just curious how long it will remain.

Last I heard it was supposed to come down in Spring, 2016.
