Default Old hickory 11/7/15 catfishing in the kayak

Went to Cedar Creek to cure yesterday's skunk and put in around 11:30am. After much research beforehand I decided to fish creek channel with the fish finder and once I found I used the wind to drift down it. The first hour was slow but then it picked up. Caught 3 channel catfish around 2-5lbs and lost a good one. Every time I found shad I'd get hits. A very nice day in the kayak!

Good deal. Glad you found some fish. I hit JPP for hybrids and had no luck what so ever. I had one bite on a shad but missed it.
