Default KY Lake 10/30/2015

My friend and I hit Kentucky Lake today; what a gorgeous fall day it was to be out on the water. And I was way overdue because it's been a while since I wet a line. Caught a few fish, which was nice, got to see a bald eagle flying low and close to the boat (no pics, too busy gawking) and pretty much enjoyed the nice weather and beautiful scenery. Yes, I'm still alive

Default The fish

Oh, and the fish. Not a lot, KY Lake always kicks my @ss and today was no different; the high pressure and bluebird skies didn't help but that's ok, it was good to be back out on the water again.

Those are some nice chunks. I want to fish KY lake, maybe next year. I used to see bald eagles all the time on G-Ville. This spring saw one flying off with a fish , drop it back into the lake, circled and just hit the water like a bowling ball and come back up with it. Pretty cool to see from about 50 yards away.

Looks like you had a good day. I have only fished KY Lake a few times around Birdsong.
