Default Fishing University

Monday morning and good buddy of mine and I headed to cheatham dam to go on our first ever striper trip. Knowing very little we arrived early and we're the only ones until another fella rolled up at daybreak. Began speaking with him and learned that he is an avid member of fishingtn.com (can not remember his username for the life of me), we both got on the water and we struck out hard core. We kept looking over at our newfound friends and they were getting into them like crazy. To my surprise they came over and started talking and showing us what do and what not to do, taught us about circle hooks, the right skip jack size, how sinkers to use, and much more. We didn't end up catching any but now the next time we go out we will be prepared and ready, thanks hands down to these two guys that we met out there. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and would like to meet up again. It's great to know that there are people out there that want to teach others their ways and spread fishing knowledge, thats what its all about. Much appreciated again.

Hey Patrick THANK YOU for the huge compliment. I remembered FatPat 33 but didn't realize you both were members of this forum. When we meet folks like you guys Dave and I really do enjoy helping out. It was great to meet ya'll Monday. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!! It's folks like you that keep us free and doing what we do. I fish mostly on Cheatham or below the dam at Cheatham and on Mondays. Hope to see you guys again!!!

Shoe man, what kinda boat are you in?

I've never fished below Cheatham and keep meaning to go.

I just need a kick start to head me in that direction.

If I get there, I'll look you up.

I'll be in a long white Excel flat bottom with 300 rods sticking up in the air!

I run a blue bumblebee 175. At the moment it's in the shop having the motor tuned up. I am with fishing my good friend Dave out of his red javlin till mine gets done. We will be down there again this Monday around 6am. Both boats are the older kind. His is an 86 and mine an 89 model. I need to hook up with someone who can show me how to post pics with my phone to this forum. That's the biggest reason I usually just stalk and not post.

Yes, it's a app. It was easier to use but they " Updated" it and made it a little more frustrating. You can choose pictures from your library and upload them right to the site.

Great. If I have enough room on my phone I'll download it. By the way to everyone on this forum I have really enjoyed looking at the posts and seeing the back and forth since tcintn pointed me toward it.
