Talking 45" 32 Pound Striper!

Went Striper huntin' down river from the Steam Plant. Not marking many fish but came across a small school and sent down a 9" gizzard shad. Holy Cow, what a season this has been. If it gets any better I don't think I can stand it. It measured 45" & weighed in at 32 Pounds. Bigger Bait, Bigger Fish. After having one run off with my Shimano/Okuma rig right off the side of the boat, It felt good to catch one on the new Setup...

Thanks Again! Yes, I'm in Gallatin. I agree, it has been an Awesome Season. We've had a Ton of Fun and topped a lot of personal bests. I do have my eye on that 11.1 oz Old Hickory Largemouth record. Here's hoping...

BTW, I've been fishing in 35' -40' of water mainly & dropping the bait down to about 20' FWIW.
