Default Jpp 8-19-2015

Things are holding steady on JPP if your looking for hybrids. Live bait produced these fish and a few more.

Man, that looks like fun. We just traded our cuddy and bought CC to take the kiddos out on to fish. We're going to give JPP a shot tomorrow. Glad to see they're biting.

They haven't touched my Urigs the last couple times out on JPP. Everything coming off side planers and downriggers with hair jigs. Go watch Aero's videos. It'll get you moving the right direction.

These were caught on shad. I'm without a trolling motor at the moment so I anchored near where I suspected fish might be, first spot between 7 points and cooks. Then cast slip bobbers set to 15-18' with 1 oz sinkers and a lip hooked gizzard shad. Also, cast a couple out with just a 2 oz sinker tail hooked. I try to land these in about 20-25' of water, they will swim up off of the bottom hooked like this. These bottom rods got about half of the action this go around. I've caught fish on the channel by hobson before, but haven't fished it lately. Good luck!

I have to say JPP as well as Tims Ford have been very cooperative this year.

Amen to that. I cant watch one of his videos without calling in sick and going fishing the next day. I think that last one "striper strikes" inspired this trip.
