Talking Fishing Cheatham Dam

Hey fellas,
Its 334 am and im just getting back from fishing cheatham dam from the bank. Got out there around 5 for bait and the skip jack were running hard. This years batch were running on the south side of the lower part of the damn near shore, but the older bigger skipjack showed up around 7 and hooked a load of em. Also some huge stripers were being caught with a white 8 inch twisty tail by the guys next to us. One was easily over 45 pounds. We catfished all night with cut bait and just had no luck at all, moved around down 49 and didnt catch dang on anything all night. Beautiful night out but notta one fish.

Default Boats

Any people fishing from boats? 22,000 cfs is a lot of current.
A 40 + would be a haul in that water.
