Personally, I would not leave sight of my vehicle at Jefferson Springs after dark.

?? You can take home bass..I know some prefer not to but the wording made it seem like you thought you aren't allowed to eat bass.
That isn't a bad spot to fish this time of year as long as it's at night otherwise you'll be swarmed by jetskis and wakeboards. That part of the lake is the absolute worst for that crowd. The caveat is that at night, you don't want to be there either.
If you want to fish JPP at night, go to Hamilton Springs or Spring Creek ramps. Much less traffic and while no public ramp is immune to break ins, those ramps have less of an issue. The very little I fish JPP is at night and I only use those two ramps.

I fished that area pretty often though high school and after, thats been 12 years or so ago. I would spend 2 or more nights a week on the lake and never had any issues at Jefferson springs. There are some really good stretches through that area for bass.

That's not true. I don't eat Carp or anything I catch above Walter Hill dam upstream near that landfill
Oh and I wouldn't have eaten that eel in the other thread.

Haha yall are a trip.. I'm thinking were just going to hit fate sanders now that yall got me all worried bout the truck. And I just don't like the taste of bass, fun fishing but hybrid taste better lol. I just got some floating lights on sale at kmart for 10 bucks and wanna try them out too. Switched em with green lights so we should get some action.

Apply aloe or cold water to the burn.

I don't know where the spring creek ramp is, but 4 corners and Fate Sanders are the only ramps on the lake I would leave a vehicle at after dark, only exception is if you are coming in just after sunset then most are ok, but still not the most safe. On a saturday, people everywhere, someone tried to break in my old toyota and a friends truck at poole knobs in the middle of the day and I mean there were people everywhere. Nothing of any value of any kind in view in my vehicle. I could tell of MANY times cars have been broken into in most every ramp on that lake so none of them are truly safe, but for sure I would be very careful where I left my vehicle after dark. I am personally familiar with 2 times at Jefferson springs that when friends came back in from fishing, once in daytime, once at night, vehicle and boat trailer were gone never to be seen again.
