Went back out on Priest today trying to find the big hybrid school we fished yesterday. No luck with that, but we did finally run into some pretty nice action on whites and largemouth. They were schooled up and chasing shad on the SW side of Hong Kong. Wasn't every cast like yesterday, but it was pretty steady for about 30 minutes till the rain shut them down.

Also found one lone crappie down about 18 ft. along with a few randoms (channel cats, yellows,)

i get all kinds of ADD when fishing, i will take 20 minutes setting up 3 crappie rods on my way to my spot, get 1 in the water, see a fish jump, crank that rod up and start casting with something shiny! LOL. i can go from crappie, cats, bluegills while trolling, casting and jigging all in a matter of 20 minutes.
its hard not to change gears when the water boils with them fish!

good ya found em though. thats a start!
i ran into a big school of mixed bag hybrids and nice cats and crappie a few years ago by Big Bear island, hit em hard there for 3 days straight and havent caught a fish there since. ive found bait there since, but not a sniff from a fish.
