Default Pickwick

Had a great day below dam at Pickwick yesterday. Caught 47 large mouth and 10 white bass today. I was bumping a Purple Redemption Slab Magnet on a 1/8th ounce Double Cross jig head next to the rip rap in a cut back area on generator side of dam. The large mouth were all from 15 to 18 inches. White bass were mostly at the 14 inch mark. The fish were caught on 6# test SOS line using a Major Craft Truzer Ajing 6' 5" UL hard model. It was a ton of fun fighting those fish in the current. I usually take my fish pics on the Hawg Trough but where I was fishing today was not conducive to that due to where I was fishing. I was balanced on boulders and just not a good place to try to get the fish to lay still on the board. Will hit it again tomorrow and hope for same results. Really wanted to go to my Gill spot but you know the saying..."Don't ever leave a spot you are catching fish". Those fish hit the Slab Magnet with a big jolt......many times as I was getting ready to lift lure out of the water....go to love that kind of action!....life is good!

Regards

Yeah Travis I like it a lot. The bass were stacked in at Pickwick and should get a lot better. Just found out today even though they are releasing some water they are holding for a few days. Then when they get the OK to go the CFS should jump up to 70-80 thousand CFS.....then it should be on fire....I hope.

Regards

Yeah, I heard that about the water too. Moving water has been good to us lately not sure I like them shutting it off but like you said it will have to come back on.
