Default Trolling for pre spawn channel cats.

The channel cats are in pre spawn in Dale Hollow. Trolling crank baits and spoons on down riggers is getting the job done. For you guys that fish for cats, you know how hard they fight.

Daves spent years and years refining the techniques/fish patterns up there on Dale Hollow. Trolling is successful anywhere for multiple species from a kayak to a center console. They key is to get out and follow seasonal patterns that you learn in time.

Go do it Suggs, you will catch fish.

You can be as simple as just pulling a line with a crankbait on it or as complex as Dave with downriggers and a fishhawk.

Thanks guys, we hit again yesterday. Tennoutdoorsman, good luck and let us know how you make out.. If you want to message me about tips and you're on Facebook, I don't like the message system here. To much spam. You'll have to do it on my FB page because I'm not part of the official Fishingtn FB reindeer gang. The link to my page is https://www.facebook.com/dalehollowfishingcharters

Sorry, bycatches? Do you mean other species? If so, this week week also caught some walleye, smallies and bows.

It's Yankee for: What do you catch besides catfish?

I'm not fluent in Yankeese, but I manage.
