Default Power Pole Alternative

Is anyone using a power pole alternative that actually works?? The power poles are 1500.00 or so. They are sweet but yikes 1500.00.

Google "shallow water anchor" and you will find every conceivable alternative to Power Poles or Talons. Check out the "Stick It" and Wang anchor systems. There is also plenty of information on DIY shallow water anchor fabrication.

I just got an 8' blade power pole, but I have an 8' stick-it anchor pin. Works great and also is a great push pole.
