Thumbs up Old Hickory Lake fishing report 3/21/2015

MR. ED and I went to my cove for some crappie and I ended up out front in 21' of water and one bluegill. Then we went to MR. ED cove and caught 8 bluegills and 2 small LM. Then I wanted to do some bass fishing instead of spider rigging for crappie. So we went to a place that I told one of my readers about this morning and I caught a real nice 18 3/4 " LM that was 4 1/2 pounds on a red eye shad by Strike king which made my day. The water temp was 47.7 this morning and was 50.1 at 12 pm when I caught the big LM. So till the next report good luck and GOD BLESS ..................WOODY

Thumbs up

Wow Nice big fat Bass Thanks for the report.

I fished about a mile or two up from ya and caught like 4 small male crappie 5 ft deep.
Hope to see more as the weather improves.
I think the biggest thing right now is the heavy dam draw as that always makes for a challenging day of fishing.

Nice fish woody! I think that makes up for the lack of crappie.
