Pickwick Lake Info

My partner and I hope to do a 3 day trip to Pickwick Lake in the next 2 weeks Mar 27 or Apr 3 based out of Iuka and launching at Bear Creek. Never fished this area and would like any information pertaining to water temp, structure, areas +-10 miles to fish.

I live in Nashville TN and fish OH & KY frequently...so would always be willing to offer my 2 cents on these lakes.

I would try the flats first.... with a hard jerk bait or a tube jig raked on bottom..

May want to take the time and go below Pickwick and fish the dam. Early morning or evening you should see some striper action on top water.

I didn't reply to this as you were wanting to fish another area....but below the dam at Pickwick is on fire.
